Hooray! Chris is home!

Yesterday, Chris came back from his four day class trip to Trout Lake with a nice little sunburn and a big bag of oranges (the straightest path to my heart- the oranges, not the sunburn). His Limnology Lab took him up north for some research and work on a project, and he spent the time diving to get fresh water plants and bringing them to the surface so his group could study them. After bringing them to the surface, his job was to make sketches of them. Later this week his group will do a presentation on what they found. Few things make Chris happier than learning about esoteric topics. Freshwater plants found in northern Wisconsin water systems between 2 and 3 meters deep is about spot on for esoteric, if you ask me. But that’s why I married him. He’s got a sexy brain.
