What we do late at night when no one is sleeping

The difficulty with having more than one kid is that as soon as one is finally asleep, the other is leaping off the walls in a fit of late night crackheadedness. Just as we got Jay to sleep last night, Ella was ready to go. So here is what we were up to at 10:30 last night. Note the complete lack of sleep in her eyes and the position of the camera, because I was crumpled on the floor hoping she wouldn't notice that my blinks were getting longer and longer. It may sound like I am awake, but that is only because little people can sense weakness. I had to sound cheerful! and awake! because otherwise she would have eaten me whole. Or at least would have gummed my jawline a good bit.

So, we just got this new camera that shoots video, only I haven't figured out how to make it not dark and grainy. Until I figure that out, I will call these films "artsy" and "independent".
