On the other hand, spring is coming, because, look:
Our wedding lime is finally fruiting, after nearly eight years. We planted the seeds of this tree during our wedding ceremony, June 16 2001. It flowered for the first time a few months ago, and now we have a lime! Maybe it will be ready for our traditional anniversary key lime pie. As long as Jay doesn't notice it and pluck it off the tree. There is a metaphor there somewhere, I am sure, but it fails me at the moment.
Finally, what do you do when you are snowed in and can't get to the train show? Take a billion random pictures of your kids, that's what.
And that's pretty much it.
The kids are so big and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty nice too, although I'd never trade that for the lovely FL weather.
Let me know when you're in town.
Lucy

ReplyDeleteThose are fantastic pictures! And if that boy's smile could get any bigger, I'd like to see it. We miss you. Sofia picks up the phone and says "Jay? Ella?" Must call Gavins. Must visit Gavins. Have a jonesing to come up north any time soon?
